AFCON 2015 Tunisia 1-1 DR Congo Player Ratings

TUNISIA

Aymen Mathlouthi 7

Calm and composed. Never seemed overly troubled.

Hamza Mathlouthi 7

Quiet night, had very little to do.

Syam Ben Youssef 6

Especially good in the air.

Mohamed Yakaoubi 6

Not as tidy as Andennour and Ben Youssef. Gave away needless fouls.

Aymen Abdennour 7

A rock in defence.

Ali Maaloul 7

Typically intelligent when joining attack. Involved in build-up to Akaichi’s goal.

Hocine Ragued 6

Sat in front of back five and distributed neatly.

Ferjani Sassi 6

Composed on the ball. Very useful when eating away time in possession.

Yassine Chikhaoui 9

Easily the man of the match. Impeccable outing. Fulfilled his world-class potential tonight and we’re dying to see more.

Wahbi Khazri 5

Worked hard but struggling to find the sharpness he displayed in pre-tournament friendlies. Criminal miss before Bokila’s equalizer.

Ahmed Akaichi 6

Great anticipation to nod in Tunisia’s first, but very wasteful afterwards.

Hamza Younes 5

Replaced Akaichi and was tidier, but not as aggressive

Mohamed Ali Moncer 5

Invisible on the wing while Tunisia defended

DR CONGO

Robert Kidiaba 7

Kept his team in the game early one with several fine saves. Could do nothing about the goal.

Issama Mpeko 5

Eager to burst forward, but did very little once in final third.

Joel Kimwaki 7

A goal line clearance early in the match that kept his team in the match. Kimwaki displayed some brilliant but desperate defending.

Cedric Mongongu 6

His solid self. Kept Akaichi and Younes relatively quiet.

Jean Kasusula 6

Came close with a free-kick and a long-range shot. Good game.

Chancel Mbemba 7

Much more energetic than Makiadi in midfield. Needs to refine touches in attacking third.

Cedric Makiadi 5

Replaced Youssuf Mulumbu, but did not have same influence.

Cedrick Mabwati 6

Very active as per, but again lacking end product.

Yannick Bolasie 6

Undisciplined, but has magic in his feet.

Firmin Ndombe Mubele 6

His speed kept Maaloul at bay

Dieumerci Mbokani 6

Worked hard, headed flick-on assist for Bokila equalizer.

Jeremy Bokila 7

Scored the million dollar goal, and supplemented

Junior Kabananga 6

Bigger body on the wing than Mubele. Gave Maaloul a handful to deal with.
