Our second instalment in the hopefully long running Arabic Commentary Series covers a relatively rare event. It details the success of an Arab nation in qualifying for an international tournament, in this example it’s the UAE’s qualification to the London Olympics 2012 which occurred last week.

Faris Awadh of Abu Dhabi Sports Channel & Amir Abdullah of Dubai Sports Channel are heavily invested emotionally in football, they are two of the outstanding commentators in the region. However, when it comes to their home nation those emotions are increased to an indescribable level.
